India’s first collaborative workspace for people from all walks of life
A new and exciting concept that has managed to create quite a buzz in the young and vibrant community of creative professionals, Ministry of New, is a collaborative workspace. The brain child of Marlies Bloemendaal, Founder/Creative Director, and Natascha Chadha, Co-Founder/Community Director, the idea was to lend creative minds a space to think, work and connect with the rest of the world.
Spread across 8,000sqft of the recently-renovated Kitab Mahal building in Fort, Mumbai, Ministry of New has become the new creative hub for working professionals from across the city.
So how did Ministry of New come into existence? It all started way back in 2013. In her quest to find a stimulating work environment in India, Marlies Bloemendaal renovated this old abandoned factory in Lal Baug, Mumbai, and converted it into a chic photo studio/work/event space and called it ‘Ministry of New’. Later, brand consultant Natascha Chadha joined Ministry of New and became a member, and eventually the co-founder.
