Contemporary furniture and finishes brought this renovated farmhouse to life
After living overseas for several years and renting a property in Jo’burg, the owners of this house finally decided to put down roots. “We loved the jacaranda-lined streets in Saxonwold and wanted to be near our friends and our children’s schools. My husband’s great-grandfather built a house here when the suburb was first established, so we also felt a connection to the area.” However, it took a while before they found the perfect property. “It was difficult to find a house with a good flow, but when we walked into this one, we just knew it worked.”
