February brings with it the most pressurizing date night of all-time: Valentine’s Day! As you panic over what shoes to pair with which outfit, leave your hair woes to Lakshika Pinto…

Love Is In The Hair!

Braid Your Bun

When you’ve grown up in Sri Lanka, braiding your hair becomes a life skill learnt at a very young age. That’s exactly why you’ll be able to ace this romantic hairdo. Secure your hair in a low ponytail first and braid that ponytail into one plait. Tie the end of the plait and wrap it around in a circular fashion, replicating a bun and secure the end in with a bobby pin. You can use more bobby pins to keep the bun in place, before gently pulling out the edges for a natural, fuller and slightly messy touch. Spray on a little hairspray to avoid any budging throughout the night.
