Tracey-anne Buckley Aggett has turned her passion into a business, running fashion tours to Italy and coordinating events, including what will be the fi rst Mrs Universe in Africa.
To escape the difficulties of growing up in a divorced family, Tracey-anne would lose herself in the fashion and beauty fantasies of glossy magazines and create outfits for her Barbies. Today she lives her fantasies, heading up her own company in Durban that runs fashion and culture tours to Italy, and organising women’s events to build their confidence so they can live to their full potential.

‘Everything starts with a vision,’ she says. ‘You need to see it clearly in your mind’s eye, then break it into steps – researching online, finding mentors by networking, getting training, then putting in the hard work.’
Focusing on a future in fashion and beauty, Traceyanne studied cosmetology and trained in aesthetics and spa management. Then she found a job in the spa of a cruise ship, sailing the Caribbean and giving facials and massages to the likes of the stars of Days Of Our Lives and The Bold And The Beautiful.
