Sweet, Simple, Stunning Gift Wrap
Good Housekeeping South Africa|December 2018

Picking out presents is the fun part, but tying yourself in knots over how to wrap them isn’t nearly as good of a time. Make it easier on yourself with this trick: start with a roll of plain brown paper, then finish off each box with eye-catching embellishments you probably already own.

DRAW SOME SNOWFLAKES

You don’t have to be an artist to doodle a flurry of stick snowflakes across a box. Use a white paint marker and vary the sizes to make your paper rival those fancy sheets at the stationery shop.

SPICE IT UP WITH SCENT

Find a couple of cinnamon sticks in the kitchen, then snip an evergreen sprig from the back of the Christmas tree. Tie them to your package with twine and watch as your family calls you Martha.
