All these years later, the actors have not only fulfilled their dreams, but have racked up their fair share of famous flings and divorce disasters, leaving them both single.

Now insiders tell New Idea that Sharon, 63, and Brad, 57, have rekindled their friendship in recent months – and word is things are heating up fast!

“Brad has always had a special place in his heart for Sharon since they started out on this crazy ride together,” tells an insider, who exclusively reveals they have been enjoying some private lunches and catch-ups whenever they’re in the same city.

Interestingly, the source reveals that both Brad and Sharon tried their hardest to maintain their friendship into adulthood. However, things became difficult when Brad began dating his now ex-wife, Angelina Jolie, in 2005.

“When Brad got together with Angelina, she stopped him talking to Sharon because Ange saw her as a threat. Thankfully, they’re back in touch,” tells the source.
