July 28, 1952 -December 12, 2016
Richard (Rick) Bernhard Hoiberg moved on to his heavenly home on December 12, 2016. He is survived by his wife Nancy, children Chris, Joe and Elizabeth; brothers Rob and Ron; grandchildren Makayla and Sydney; and many other family and friends. Rick was an amazing Christian man, avid pro-life supporter, veteran and a passionate singer songwriter who has blessed countless lives.
After growing up in Salinas, California, where he attended elementary, junior high and most of high school, Rick graduated from Carmel High School in 1970. In 1971, Rick joined the U.S. Navy and was sent to Great Lakes Naval Station for boot camp. Some of his time in the Navy was spent during the Vietnam War as an electronic technician radar specialist. During his Navy years, he also taught advanced electronics. While serving our country in the Navy, he met his wife Nancy at the United Servicemen’s Organization (USO) in San Diego. After dating a few months, Rick proposed with a song he had written for Nancy, and they were married on July 20, 1974.

Aaron & Amanda Crabb Releases Restore
Restoration often emerges from the unlikeliest of places. For Aaron & Amanda Crabb, it’s come in the form of planting and leading a church, as well as in the unexpected joy of welcoming a fourth child — not to mention recording a brand new album. In the three years since the release of their Dove-nominated Difference Media debut, Mercy, the couple has experienced tremendous change and immense growth. It’s something they readily acknowledge as part of God’s ultimate vision, and a direct catalyst for their much-anticipated new project, Restore.
