Don't Stop The Party

From the nightclubs of Seoul to the ruin bars of Budapest, here’s our ultimate guide to partying across the world, one pub at a time.

Don't Stop The Party

Everybody loves a good party. And one of the upsides of travelling and exploring nightlife is that it opens you up to a whole gamut of experiences, whether it’s dancing like no one’s watching in a crowded nightclub or catching your favourite band live halfway across the globe. If nothing, they make for great stories, if you happen to remember them, that is. So, let the good times roll with our list of hand-picked party destinations—rub shoulders with the uber rich at Dubai’s swanky bars, hit the dance floor in Amsterdam’s clubs, party Gangnam-style in South Korea, be all hipster and cool at Berlin’s underground pubs or soak in some beach side revelry on a Greek island.

NEW ORLEANS, USA

The birthplace of jazz is one big party spot. Mardi Gras is a case in point; colourful parades fill the city for two months starting from January, and the celebrations go on until the end of February with unparalleled revelry. And if you missed it, you can still soak in the groovy vibe of New Orleans, where you’re never far away from a jazz bar. There’s music all around you, and bars here are not merely watering holes, but institutions in their own right. Such as Maple Leaf Bar which hosts The Rebirth Brass Band, among the most acclaimed brass bands from the region; Bruce Springsteen has dropped in here for impromptu performances, and Beyoncé and Jay Z even recorded a song here.

Checklist If you’re in the mood for dancing, go to Republic; for great cocktails, check out Antoine’s Restaurant and Napoleon House, and if you dig old school jazz, don’t miss Fritzel’s European Jazz Pub and Spotted Cat Music Club.

DUBAI, UAE
