How has the year 2017 been for Mercedes-Benz Oman?
We have certainly had a very positive year in terms of performance, product launches and customer satisfaction as a business. The economic situation, whilst improving, remains a challenge, but we have used this time productively to look at our business processes, in particular the way we support our customers through this difficult period.
We have continued to put customers at the centre of everything we did this year and it will remain our focus in 2018 and beyond. We have invested heavily in new initiatives to improve our internal processes and our customer handling skills. As a brand our promise is ‘the Best or Nothing’ and this goes far beyond our award-winning lineup. Our business objective is to provide the best customer experience first time and every time thereafter. This applies at the point of sale and the whole lifetime of ownership through our excellent aftersales care. Aftersales has been a key focus this year in both our Passenger Car and Commercial Vehicle businesses and it has yielded positive results.
We have also added to our luxury range of vehicles this year which is always exciting for our team and customers alike. We have welcomed three new members to the E-Class family, the E-Class Coupé with its expressive coupé-esque proportions, the E-Class Cabriolet with its classic soft top representing both elegance and intelligence and the new Mercedes-AMG E 63 S 4MATIC, transforming the executive sedan into the most advanced, performance-infused E-Class ever. We also welcomed the highly anticipated S-Cass, the adrenaline pumping and thrilling GT Roadster and the Mercedes-AMG GT R which is a street legal race car. In our SUV family the new GLA has been turning heads with its sporty and dynamic design.
