Reviewing the Beats Fit Pro, we had a little deja vu: share a lot of they similarities with the relatively recent Beats Studio Buds. At least, on the surface. But, if you dig a little deeper, you'll find a much-improved experience.

The Beats Fit Pro don't reinvent the aesthetic wheel of earbuds, nor should they. Though the squarish charging case looks very different, they resemble the Beats Studio Buds quite a bit, only adding the wingtips that a lot of sports-focused earbuds a tend to come with.

As far as materials go, the body of the earbuds is made of a durable plastic while the wingtips have a flexible runner feel, letting the outer part of the buds have a softer feel.

While the wingtips don't look as secure as the over-ear hooks of the Powerbeats Pro, they will stay in place no matter how intense of a workout you're doing. That was certainly what we found. Unlike any other earbuds we've used, we didn't have to adjust them or push them in for a better fit.

The downside of that, of course, is that they're not comfortable for long periods of time. That makes these great for working out but not so great for a plane or road trip, as far as comfort goes.
