Priyanka & Nick: The Love Story That Left The World In Awe
The Malaysian Women\'s Weekly|February 2019

The year 2018 drew to a close with a dreamy love story that stole hearts around the world.

Priyanka & Nick: The Love Story That Left The World In Awe

When asked to describe Nick Jonas in three words, “husband, calm, extremely loving,” was Priyanka Chopra Jonas’s passionate reply to Hindustan Times. She is 36 while he is only 26. What everyone assumed was going to be another tumultuous and drama-filled dalliance turned out to become a quickly developing and passion-filled romance that culminated in the most-talked-about wedding of 2018.

If you ask us, we think it even eclipsed Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s highly anticipated wedding last spring.

An Unlikely Romance

When news broke late May 2018 that Nick and Priyanka were a couple, the world collectively went, “Huh?!”. After all, the differences were stark – she is the darling of Bollywood and he is a young singer/songwriter who has seen success as the youngest member of the Jonas Brothers. Not to mention, with her being a decade older than he is, most would agree that it was an unlikely coupling.

When a nasty article appeared in the US publication, The Cut, which accused PC (as she is fondly known) of trapping Nick into a fraudulent relationship and being a “global scam artist”, the world came to her defence.
