The Royal National Lifeboat Institution, or RNLI as it is known, needs the support of the UK public now more than ever, as fuel prices slowly rise and running costs keep escalating.
What better way to do something positive than by giving something back to an organisation whose sole purpose is to preserve life in anything the seas can throw at it, and heaven knows it has been magnificent at doing that since its inception in 1824.
Now the Taffy Anglers are a small group of sea anglers, only 20 in number with four juniors at present. They are based in Beddau, South Wales and have only been around since December 2013. They think nothing is better than hitting the beach together; these guys have a great community spirit as well as enjoying each other’s company, which is part of the attraction.
They raised a shed load of cash for the RNLI last year but wanted to do more; with the target raised to £1,000 this year it was going to take some doing.
