DANNY MULLINS continued his festive celebrations when partnering Stormy Ireland to victory in the Relkeel Hurdle at a ram-packed Cheltenham.
On Boxing Day, Mullins enjoyed his most notable success after capturing the King George VI Chase at Kempton on Tornado Flyer, who like Stormy Ireland is also trained by his uncle Willie Mullins.
Stormy Ireland certainly had her cause helped when Brewin'Upastorm under Aidan Coleman took a brutal fall at the last hurdle when still full of running.
Mullins said: “Maybe it was 50-50 going down to the last. My gut feeling was I was starting to get on top but with a furlong to run at Chelten! you never know."
