Military chief in sub warning

THE head of Britain's armed forces has warned Russia that an attack on the UK's internet cables could be seen as an act of war.

Russian subs are said to be a growing threat to the underwater communication lines that carry information all over the planet.

Admiral Sir Tony Radakin said there had been a “phenomenal increase in Russian submarine and underwater activity".
