Prince William only found out about Harry’s plans for a show about their mother when another family member mentioned it, royal sources have claimed.
He was reported to be furious his brother hadn’t spoken to him about the proposed documentary – part of a £75million deal with Netflix.
Harry and wife Meghan are understood to have held discussions about a feature on Diana’s family history.
But William is believed to be highly displeased.
A source said: “Harry hasn’t spoken to William in over three months and they have had another falling out over the Sussexes’ plans to make a feature documentary on Princess Diana’s family history and heritage.
“It is early stages but it is looking like it could happen as it was an area that Harry wanted to explore and is obviously very close to his heart.
“William found out about it through another family member who Harry had told and was upset that he was effectively sidelined.
“He can’t believe Harry wouldn’t pick up the phone to discuss it with him. He is furious.”
Last week, it emerged the Royal Family will cast a critical eye over any programs produced by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
A Palace insider claimed that while they quit royal duties with everyone’s best wishes, it was made clear future commercial deals would be “subject to the discussion”.
