Indians have taken to crossborder shopping like a duck to water with more than half of the online shoppers now making purchases on international sites, a new mCommerce report commissioned by PayPal, a global leader in digital payments, has revealed. Also, one in two mobile shoppers in India buy across border.
The study by ipsos was conducted across 11 markets and about 22,000 consumers and 4,602 businesses participated. In India, 2,000 consumers (aged 18-74) who owned or used a smartphone and 302 business influencers or decision makers who sell or take payments online to consumers (and businesses), were interviewed.
