Telagana State Finance Commission Chairman G.Rajesham Goud has asked sarpanches to work for the success of the 30-day Special Action Plan.
Speaking at the interactive session organised by the State Finance Commission for sarpanches on financial and administrative issues at the Telangana State Institute of Rural Development, Rajendranagar here on Wednesday, Mr.Goud and Member M.Chennaiah explained the role of State Finance Commission. Rajendranagar MLA Prakash Goud was the chief guest.
Mr. Rajesham Goud said the recommendations to be given by the State Finance Commission on allocation of funds to rural and urban local bodies would be valid for five years.
The Commission was gathering data from local bodies through a questionnaire sent to them and a software was developed by the Centre for Good Governance to collate the data.
