Make your portraits more dynamic

Take your portraits to a higher level by adding some motion to the scene. If your model isn't completely relaxed or is unsure of how to pose, then get them to interact with elements surrounding the scene or in the background to loosen up their posture. Creating a lighter atmosphere and using props will shift the focus away from being solely on them and put your subject at ease.

Use a fast shutter speed and you'll be able to capture a more genuine side to your subject while they move around or, in this case, throw flower petals into the air. When shooting at outdoor locations, always use what's around you to the best of your ability and put that photographic eye to work everything can be a prop if used correctly.
