Being an electronics engineer by profession and a photographer, he possesses a unique and deep insight into the technical aspects of digital photography and equipment. He has published more than a 100 articles on photography and some of his writings have also been published in the well-known international magazine Popular Photography.
An avid collector of photographic books and vintage cameras, Ashok has a keen interest in the history of photography and a passion for sharing his knowledge on photography through teaching and writing. He is the only Indian photographer to be featured on the Nikon Centenary website. He is presently working as a Management and Engineering consutant. He can be reached at kashokk@ gmail.com.
As you welcome the new year after the dreadful 2020, you will need a new calendar to keep track of dates, appointments and events. While you may have received a few as gifts or even bought one, as a photographer, it will be satisfying if you make a calendar with your own favourite pictures. It is easy too, if you follow the steps given here.
Points to consider
Given here, are a few points for you to keep in mind, before you start preparing your photo calendar.
First, I am assuming that you are familiar with the Library and Develop modules of Lightroom and your photographs (that will appear in the calendar) have been imported into the catalogue. It will also help if you have knowledge of the Print module. However, this is not a must, as the steps needed are spelled out. (In case you want to know more about the Print module, please refer to Smart Photography, February 2017, issue).
