Ubisoft, can we make a suggestion? Change the name of your latest hack-‘em-up right this second. Sure, ‘Legion’ is kinda snappy, but if you want to convey the real heart of this systems-driven sandbox, you really should call it ‘Watch Dogs: Kickass Granny’s Big Night Out’. Rolls right off the tongue. Not only is this the game where you can whoop all the ass with a pensioner, but it’s also an open world with near-limitless possibilities.
Watch Dogs: Legion’s elevator pitch is a showstopper. Explore and liberate a decidedly post-Brexit-y sandbox London, taking control of almost any one of its thousands of NPCs whenever you wish. That’s right: this is an open world where you can pretty much control every single character in the game. And we thought GTA V’s trio of playable felons was ambitious.
