Tampa Bay’s big defender offers his thoughts on the hobby

 For the past four seasons, the Tampa Bay Lightning have had a big beast on their blue line and Andrej Sustr has come a long way in that time.

Sustr came over to North America from the Czech Republic back in 2008-09 and after stints in the NAHL and USHL, spent three years at the University of Nebraska- Omaha. Once his collegiate career came to a close with a WCHA Third All-Star Team selection in 2012-13, he signed on with the Lightning as a free agent and appeared in his first two NHL games.

Eligible for his first licensed hockey cards the next year, he was in a handful of products and he told Beckett Hockey about seeing himself on cardboard for the first time.
