Curing too short a backswing

1 Sometimes, when trying to hit it as far as possible, people forget to finish the backswing. They don't fulfil the torso turn, which then doesn't fulfil the hip turn, and they're back into the ball way too early, most likely too steeply and across the line (below). I would encourage practising with a little pause at the top to give you a feeling of where the end of your swing currently is. There's potentially always then a few degrees more turn available, with momentum taking you there.
