Skyving Off Cheat Days
RUN Singapore|April/May 2018

Skyve Wine Bistro provides old-school favourites but with a twist that shows how much the restaurant embraces the future.

Skyving Off Cheat Days

Newton is famous for their hawker food fare, but for those looking to beat the crowds and heat while searching for options, Skyve Wine Bistro might be the answer.

THE PLACE

When looking for a casual-dining experience, one would be hardpressed to find a lovelier restaurant in Newton. Mixing in the classic elegant modern vibes with old-school elements (literally, Skyve is located on the now defunct Monk’s Hill Secondary School), the restaurant is a blend of old world charm and modern elegance.

Restauranteur Celine Tan has worked hard to maintain the casual elegance of the place, and Skyve is often full of requests for bookings for weddings, parties, and functions. The restaurant hosts three distinct areas: the main restaurant inside, the outdoor dining area, and a little area for after dinner drinks, which is perfect for any occasion.
