WINTER arrived here in Newmarket early December and we had a fair fall of snow but as my photo show the horses were still out and about in it all as they have to be at exercise.

A lot of our HQ trainers will soon be off on their winter holidays, Sir Michael Stoute is never here in January. He loves to go to Barbados for a warm-up before returning in February to supervise work on his string in readiness for the new Flat season, although this time he will have to observe various Covid protocols.
