DAILY SKIN REGIME

I believe in trying things before recommending them. Because of this, my routine gets constantly tweaked. Some things that don’t change, however, include a gentle, non-foaming face wash (twice daily), a product containing retinol at night, a serum that suits my skin’s needs depending on the season (sometimes a different serum for morning and evening), and a thick, soothing moisturiser to calm my rosacea (which unfortunately flares due to the city’s pollution and spicy food). My favourite products: Cetaphil Cleanser, which is super soft, can be used on the face and body, and is great for my dry skin; Dr Dennis Gross Ferulic + Retinol anti-ageing line, which doubles up as a moisturiser and eye serum; and my current favourite, Vintner’s Daughter Active Botanical Serum, which treats every skin concern, smells lovely, feels incredible and is completely natural.

HAIR REGIME

I apply heat as little as possible and even try to avoid blow drying. I never wash my hair more than every other day and avoid damaging treatments like Keratin. I get my body tests done at least twice a year to make sure that the vitamin levels are in check, as vitamin deficiency is a huge cause of hair fall in women. If at all there happens to be a deficiency, I start taking my supplements. And by supplements, I don’t mean multivitamins. Treating each deficiency individually is much more effective.
