SHIELD IT BETTER!

Whether it is about stepping out in the sun or going for a beach vacay, sunscreen lotions are musthave skincare essential for everyone. However, most people do not know that sunscreen is essential to skincare and should be applied every day, across all kinds of weather. Sunscreens are rich in properties that shield our skin from the harmful ultraviolet (UV) rays and prevent our skin from potential sun damage. Here’s how wearing sunscreen benefits the skin:

1. SHIELDS FROM HARMFUL UV RAYS

Due to ozone layer depletion, harmful UV rays infiltrate our environment. While sunlight is the major source of vitamin D, over-exposure to sunrays without a sunscreen can pose a health risk. These harsh rays may trigger skin disorders and thus, wearing sun protection is essential.

2. PREVENTS PREMATURE AGING

Younger-looking, radiant, and healthy skin is every woman's dream. However, several studies claim that people under the age of 55 who regularly used sunscreen lotions showed 24 per cent lesser chances of premature ageing.

3. LOWERS SKIN CANCER RISKS

When exposed to UV rays, the skin starts to lose its protective layer making it vulnerable to skin disorders like cancer, especially melanoma. Wearing sunscreen regularly can help safeguard skin against such diseases.

4. LOWERS BLOTCHINESS ON FACE
