Mary Twala shares why she still holds her husband’s memory close to her heart and her secret to success
VETERAN actress, Mary Twala, has been in showbiz for about 50 years and says she sees no reason to retire. She has made a success of her life, even after she was left alone with her famous son, Somizi Mhlongo, after her husband, Ndaba Mhlongo, passed away many years ago.
NO OTHER MAN FOR HER
The 78-year-old legend says even though she shot to fame a long time ago, she never saw herself doing anything else other than acting.
After the passing of her husband, who was also an actor, Mary never remarried. She says this is a conscious decision. “I will not remarry. What will a man do for me? I need no man next to me,” she says.
