Ben’s stuck in the middle as Jen refuses to hang out with the Clooneys

Forget cosy dinners for four... any hopes Ben Affleck might have had of persuading girlfriend Jennifer Lopez to become besties with his pal George Clooney have been well and truly dashed, according to insiders.

“Jen famously did not get along with George when they made [1998’s] Out Of Sight together,” a source told The Sun of the pair’s grudge against one another.

And time has not been a great healer. “Out Of Sight was Jen’s first starring role, and she’s a hard worker and didn’t appreciate his goofball behaviour,” says an insider, adding that George branded Jen a “diva”.

Now when Ben suggests get-togethers as a foursome, J.Lo point blank refuses, telling him that Ben can do whatever he likes with George, but she won’t be hanging out with him and his wife Amal, 44.
