As the world oohed and aahed at the news of Brad Pitt and Charlize Theron’s budding romance last week, one Hollywood heavyweight couldn’t have been less thrilled – Angelina Jolie.

Woman’s Day has learnt that Brad’s estranged wife is furious that Brangelina has been usurped by “Bralize”, not just because she had to find out from the media like the rest of the world, but also because she and Charlize have been professional rivals for years.

“Make no mistake, Ange is fuming about this,” an insider tells us. “She thought Brad or one of their mutual friends would let her know before it went public, but that didn’t happen and she’s blindsided!”

Brad, 55, and the Maleficent star finally reached an agreement on custody over their six kids – Maddox, 17, Pax, 15, Zahara,14, Shiloh, 12, and 10-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox – in December after two years of bitter wrangling, and the actor had hoped to keep his new relationship under wraps until the divorce was totally finalised.
