Bhavna Tokekar is a mother of two teenage boys. At an age of 47, she won four Gold medals in Power Lifting in two events (Full Power Lifting and Bench Press) in both WPC and AWPC sections of the Asian Open Power Lifting Championship held at Chelyabinsk, Russia in July 2019 She is all set to participate in the Powerlifting World Cup planned at Moscow, Russia from 11-12 Dec 2021.

Her Top 5 Favorite SQUATTING

Squatting, if done correctly has immense benefits. While it is assumed you be a leg exercise it's actually a full body workout. The not-so-visible benefits of this exercise include improved digestion, regular and healthy bowel movement, which in turn affects our food intake or eating habit and time. Squats engage the core muscles of your body and during the exercise, your abs and your back muscles also get worked up, to maintain proper balance. Engaging of all these muscles gives you tighter and stronger abdominal muscles aka packs.
