Nana Komatsu
At only 23 years old, Japanese actress and model Nana Komatsu has racked up an impressive resume for her age. The industry veteran – she began modelling at the age of 12 after being scouted on the streets of Harajuku – has shaken up the fashion world and is well on her way to conquering the silver screen. Before setting her sights on acting, Nana graced the covers of many prestigious domestic and international magazines. And she was a regular at Paris Fashion Week, with personal front row invites lined up from the late Karl Lagerfeld to Chanel’s shows.
These days, Nana has established herself as a bonafide actress, gaining recognition for works like The World of Kanako, Bakuman and most recently, Samurai Marathon. The last movie saw her snagging the Rising Star Award at the New York Asian Film Festival, which cemented her status as one of Japan’s most sought-after actresses. Whether she’s storming down the catwalk or showing off her acting chops, Nana is definitely one to watch as she continues her rise to the top.
