Most bees do not die after stinging. The exception is the honeybee, which does die after it stings. This is because once a honeybee stings someone or something, their stingers stay in the place that they stung. Unfortunately, the honeybee can’t survive without their stinger, and as they pull away from the sting site, they die.
Do cats and dogs watch TV?
— FIONA, 9, CANADA
They sure do! If you've caught your pet looking over at your television, they actually are paying attention. Both dogs and cats are very good at paying attention to movements, so the constant movement of characters on the TV screen keeps their brains entertained. The difference is the way they see the TV. Cats and dogs see less colors than we do, and need to be a bit closers to the television to get a better view.
