In the heart of one of Hyderabad’s premier locations, the Peak House by Anusha Dharmapuri of Anusha Architects is more than a residence; it’s a canvas of opulence, spanning an expansive 5,500 square feet. This capacious apartment offers an awe-inspiring vista of the city, seamlessly integrating art, architecture, and design to create a living experience that transcends conventional boundaries.
THE FOUNDATION
The very concept of the Peak House is rooted in real-world scenarios, aiming to enhance the overall user experience. A meticulously curated minimal material palette has been thoughtfully chosen to amplify the perception of space, resulting in a final aesthetic that captivates and delights. The open floor plan strategically merges gathering spaces, the dining area, and the lounge, signalling a departure from the aesthetics of the clients’ previous parental abode, also crafted by Anusha Dharmapuri.
FLUID FUNCTIONALITY
As you step across the threshold, a striking central courtyard adorned with Bangalore tiles and lush greenery welcomes you. The apartment seamlessly integrates three distinct lounge areas, posing a primary challenge: to craft a fluid design marrying functionality with well-defined boundaries.
Sheer curtains envelop the dining and living areas, casting a gentle, natural glow that enhances the serene ambience. A sliding fluted glass pocket door demarcates the drawing and living space, preserving visual continuity while allowing privacy. Sunlight bathes the apartment in its gentle glow, with a restrained colour palette finding companionship in warm veneers, plush upholstery, and hints of grey.
