'I'm a bit rusty in the dating department

Stephen Webb came across as confident, witty and full of charisma during his 10-year stint on Gogglebox. And while his charm and sense of humour are very much still intact while appearing on Celebs Go Dating – his latest venture since leaving the fly-on-the-wall TV show last year – he admits when it came to the dating game, his confidence needed a bit of work.

It’s been a while since Stephen has been on the dating scene – he and husband Daniel Lustig shocked fans when they announced they were parting ways after six years of marriage back in April. But as Stephen looks for romance again, we ask, where better to brush up on your dating skills than at the Celebrity Dating Agency?

Catching up with us for an exclusive chat at the show’s launch bash at Soho House, Stephen, 53, details how the series has not only helped his dating technique but also his confidence. As a clip from the E4 show plays around the room, the hair stylist quips, “They actually made me look really handsome!”
