Fans around the world were in mourning last week after it was announced that Lisa Marie Presley, the only child of Elvis and Priscilla, died aged 54. Her death came just days after a brief return to Graceland, her childhood home in Memphis, Tennessee, where she paid tribute to her late father at his 88th birthday memorial celebrations.
She went on to attend the Golden Globe Awards in Beverly Hills, alongside her mother, in support of Baz Luhrmann's biopic Elvis - which Lisa Marie had described as "nothing short of spectacular".
At what was her last public appearance at the glittering Beverly Hilton Hotel event, Lisa Marie, sitting beside her mother, was clearly moved by the words of Austin Butler, who won the Best Actor gong for his performance of rock'n'roll legend Elvis, as he thanked the Presley family in his acceptance speech. "Thank you guys, for opening your hearts, your memories, your home to me. Lisa Marie, Priscilla, I love you forever."
