As the 22-year-old Men's Folio Model Search 2022 winner prepares to take the spotlight in the fashion scene, we catch up with Kimie to talk about his passions, upcoming gigs and how becoming himself the truest is the best decision ever.

When you first meet Hakimi Nordin, or simply Kimie, the very first thing that will no doubt strike you is his distinctive look, thanks to his mixed-race family ancestry. His sharp cheekbones and sparkling eyes are set off by a shock of well-kept wavy black hair - if stardom were determined solely on looks, Kimie has hit the genetic jackpot. The second thing you will notice is the way the effervescent model radiates positivity effortlessly. Even having a long day before this evening photoshoot, he displayed unrestrained enthusiasm in front of the camera. Whether you want to chalk it up to either his innate personality or good upbringing, Kimie knew what it takes to become a professional model at a young age.
