WEST COAST

A FISH FRY FAVE

Connie and Ted’s

WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA

This delightfully out-of-place Southern California eatery, inspired by New England culture, opened in 2013. But the story of Connie and Ted started long before then. The restaurant is lovingly named after the late couple who inspired it. The duo moved up and down the Atlantic coastline during the 1940s and ’50s, fishing and enjoying the same seafood dishes you’ll find today at the chic-yet-cozy spot.

Pistachio-Crusted Fried Fish

This nut-crusted fish is so novel compared to the standard breaded fillets. Plus, the pistachios give it a lovely color. Taste of Home Test Kitchen
