America's Golden Age: Private & Pioneer Gold Coins of the United States 1786-1862, by Donald H. Kagin, Ph.D. and David J. McCarthy, was named both "Book of the Year" and "Best U.S. Coin Book" at NLG's awards lunch in Rosemont, Illinois, at the American Numismatic Association anniversary convention in August.
