PATTERN NOTES

Weave in loose ends as work progresses.

Join with an invisible slip stitch unless otherwise stated.

Chain-2 at beginning of round does not count as a stitch unless otherwise stated.

The first stitch will always be worked in the same stitch as the join unless otherwise stated.

When working a front post stitch around the double crochet front post triple trebles or the double crochet 2 front post triple treble, only work around the triple treble leg(s) of the stitch to make the design pop forward.

When working into a marked stitch, remove the marker after completing the stitch.

Use different colored markers for each stitch that needs to be marked for the assembly process.

When working over floral hoop, the work will have a bowl shape and will need to be stretched to fit. The use of clamps or a friend can be useful during this process due to the tight recommended gauge.

The natural hemp fiber may be too wide and stiff to use a tapestry needle when sewing the basket together. Try using a 3-4mm crochet hook to pull the cord through to sew it together.
