This is a story that long-term Aussie expat and interior designer MIRANDA KOZAN knows so well that she's turned her passion and knack for creating stunning spaces into a thriving business. We sit down with her to uncover how she brings magic to homes across Singapore and beyond.

How did you come to find yourself in Singapore as an interior designer?

I'm originally from Australia and have spent the last 20 years living abroad, with 12 of those in Singapore, where I now run my boutique interior design studio, Interior Couturier. Having lived far from my roots for a long time, I know how important it is to create a home that feels personal. That's exactly what I help expats do transforming houses into spaces that tell their unique stories.

Before transitioning to interiors in 2008 while living in London, I worked as a furniture designer in Australia.

That experience gave me a deep appreciation for craftsmanship and detail, which continues to shape my work today. Whether it's a bespoke piece or an entire home, I bring the same love for quality and timeless design to every project. My international experiences have shaped my ability to blend aesthetics with practicalityan approach that's at the heart of everything I do.
