Similar to the trendsetting Huawei Watch GT 4, during Modise's tenure as a professional player, he quickly rose to prominence due to his exceptional skills and playmaking abilities. He played for several South African clubs during his career, starting with City Pillars. Modise gained national recognition during his time with Orlando Pirates, later transferring to Mamelodi Sundowns; winning several league titles and cup competitions during his time with the club. He also represented the South African national team, Bafana Bafana, earning numerous caps during his international career In the later stages of his career, Modise joined Cape Town City FC before retiring from professional football in 2019.
Since his retirement, Modise has remained involved in the sport through various endeavours, such as being Supersport pundit and a Mamelodi Sundowns ambassador.
In addition, he is an ambassador for a range of brands including NGR, Samsonite, and Huawei.
Speaking of his partnership with the Huawei Watch 4 series, Modise says that the watch fits perfectly into his busy lifestyle, not only due to its exended battery life of up to 14 days, but its versatility of being able to suit and accompany him through every facet of his day.
