ARMIN STROM
Celebrating the 15th anniversary of its resonance complication, Armin Strom introduced a 25-piece limited-edition Dual Time GMT Resonance First Edition (Ref. WG24-DT.90). It has a 39mm symmetrical, circular case, crafted from 18K white gold, and dial showcasing two balance wheels in synchronised resonance, connected by a clutch spring that transmits vibrations between them. This unique mechanism allows the wearer to independently set two timezones on the dual skyblue dials, each adorned with a grenage finish, black azurage chapter rings, polished applied baton indexes, and rhodium-plated faceted hands. At 6 o'clock on both dials are engraved and mirror-polished day/night indicators depicting the sun and the moon. The time for each dial can be set via the two different crowns at 4 and 8 o'clock.
The Dual Time GMT Resonance features a three-dimensional ratchet mechanism linked to a pinion between the two barrels. This system, divided into a lower gear with Breguet teeth attached to the mainplate and a top element with a spring connected to the axis, ensures precise and smooth engagement and disengagement in the winding process. The movement in action here is the manual-wound Caliber ARF22 beating at 3.5Hz with a 42-hour power reserve.
The watch comes with two straps: A matte-grey alligator strap with sky-blue stitching and a light-grey alligator strap with pearl-grey stitching, both secured with an 18K pin buckle.
Price: ₹1,14,45,000 (approx.)
