Art has brilliantly used his musical influences to culminate a musical signature that is all his own, and makes him one of smooth jazz's most sought after artists. Art has shared the stage with some of the biggest artists in the music industry such as Gerald Albright, Brian Culbertson, CeCe Peniston, Eric Darius, Chuck Loeb, Mikki Howard, Loose Ends featuring Jane Eugene, Will Downing, Maysa, Chante Moore and many others. Although Art has shared the stage with A list artists, he is still very humble and grateful.
Art Sherrod Jr. has 5 studio CDs: All 4 Love (2005), Seasons (2009), Intervention (2016) Back 2 Business (2017) and Art of Love. Art will release his 6th studio CD in late 2023. I asked Art how has the music business changed from the time of his first release to the time of his current release? According to
Art there have been good changes and some not so good. The good changes come from the innovations in technology. The new technology allows artists to have home and mobile studios. By the artist having a home studio it saves on the cost of going to a standalone studio. It also allows the artist to collaborate with other artists, without actually being present.
