With Ahmedabad's air pollution on the rise, people with respiratory problems, asthma, poor immunity, or chronic health conditions need to be extra cautious. The city's average Air Quality Index (AQI) over the past 24 hours was worse than not just Gujarat's, but India's as well.

According to AQI.in, a real-time pollution monitoring platform, Ahmedabad's average AQI was 141 in the 24 hours period (from Friday to Saturday) while Gujarat's was 136 and India's was 133.
