'We're just not ready to go four the lot yet'

ENZO MARESCA says Chelsea fans are right to be "frustrated" by their domestic cup failures this season.

But the Italian head coach insisted his £1billion squad is not yet ready to compete for four trophies.

Fourth-placed Chelsea return to Brighton in the Premier League tonight after getting knocked out of the FA Cup at the Amex Stadium last week.

Maresca annoyed supporters brought up on a diet of Champions League and Premier League triumphs, by claiming they could now focus on the third-tier Europa Conference League and finishing in the top four.

He said: "They are 100 percent fair and 100 percent correct. I grew up watching Chelsea winning games and competitions but this Chelsea is not the same as that one.

"The reason I said this is because we are not ready to compete in four competitions in one season at the moment.
