LIAM Gallagher has admitted being a "soft lad" and offering an olive branch to his brother Noel to set up the Oasis reunion.

The singer, 51, said he was the one who picked up the phone to patch things up after years of fighting.

It is thought he was encouraged by mum Peggy, partner Debbie and guitarist Paul 'Bonehead' Arthurs.
