RUBEN AMORIM branded United's Manchester sacking of Dan Ashworth "a bad situation" but said the club's vision going forward remains the same.
Sporting director Ashworth was sacked on Sunday after losing a power battle with CEO Omar Berrada.
Amorim admitted the loss of Ashworth was regrettable, but said the departure does not change his mission of taking United back to the top.
Speaking ahead of United's Europa League tie away to Viktoria Plzen tonight, Amorim said: "The first thing I want to say since the first day I felt great support from the ownership, from Omar, from them also, from Jason (Wilcox) and Dan was part of that.
