A TREASURE hunter has unearthed England's largest gold nugget, despite using a faulty old metal detector.
Richard Brock, 67, travelled three-and-a-half hours and arrived late to join an expedition on farmland in the Shropshire Hills.
Once there, he had difficulty with his kit and had to resort to using another old reserve device.
