ENGLAND cricket legend Graham Thorpe died after being struck by a train near his home, an inquest heard.
The dad-of-four, 55, suffered traumatic injuries after being hit at Esher, Surrey, on August 4.
Area coroner Simon Wickens offered his condolences to the family and "all those touched by his life and career".
