MORE than 60,000 children are at risk of missing a £100-a-month benefit for low-income families.
Nearly one in five eligible kids could lose out amid fears the Scottish Child Payment (SCP) is not being promoted enough.
Opposition parties are worried that not enough is being done.
Labour MSP Paul O'Kane said: "These payments will be a lifeline to thousands of families and it would be a scandal for so many people to miss out.
"The SNP has talked about the need to tackle poverty.
